Transportation

For the convenience of students, the school operates two school buses - SML Isuzu Cosmo and Mahindra Cruzio. Isuzu has a capacity of 26 student seats and Mahindra has a capacity of 36 student seats. Due to the seating capacity, only limited students are enrolled to avail of the school bus facility, and the service is offered on first-cum-first-served basis.

Our bus drivers are well experienced safe drivers. In addition to the driver, each bus has a conductor. The conductors take care of the safely of the children while getting on the bus, traveling in the bus, and getting off the bus.

The transportation is available to pick-up and drop the children in and around Mayiladuthurai covering a radius of 12 km from the school campus. The monthly fee for the bus service varies from ₹800 (Eight Hundred Indian Rupees) and ₹1,500 (One Thousand Five Hundred Indian Rupees) depending on the distance from the school.

Bus Service Rules

1. Bus Service will be offered only to those areas from where at least 5 students can make use of the service.
2. Bus service will follow only specific routes and cannot take diversion at the demand/request of the parents.
3. Bus will play only on the Main Road, Broad Roads and not on narrow lanes/streets.
4. The bus fee will be collected in advance along with the school fee (in 3 slots).
5. Even in circumstance when the student is not able to make use of the Bus Service for a part of the month, the Bus fee will be collected in full.
6. Bus Fee once paid is not refundable, adjustable or transferable.
7. Bus Fee will be charged for full month for the months of September, December and April.
8. Parents are advised not to tip the Driver/Conductor and not be make use of them for their personal work at school.
9. One-way bus service will not be permitted.
10. Parents are requested not to contact the school bus drives on their MOBILE PHONES. If found contacting, the bus services to the student will be cancelled immediately.
11. School buses will not be operated during functions/programmes/Celebrations/Tuition classes, Sunday's exam etc., organized by the school.

Bus Conduct Rules

1. No part of the student's body (arms, hand etc.,) should be held out of an open window at any time.
2. Objects should never be thrown in the bus or out of the window.
3. Students must never move from seat while the bus is in motion. Neither are they allowed to stand and travel.
4. Students are not permitted to reserve seat for their friends by placing book on the seat.
5. There is to be no drinking of water / juice or eating in the bus.
6. The upholstery of the bus should not be damaged or marked in any way.
7. Shouting, quarelling and fighting are not permitted in the bus.
8. Students in the bus should obey the "Instruction & Guidance" of the bus Driver & Conductor.
